Bright Yellow 6" flower on 48" stalks. Late Blooming: first flowers open at the end of July or beginning of August. I originally considered it to be a diploid. But it only produces seeds when crossed with tetraploids. So it is a tet not a dip. This also means that it parents are NOT Peacock Maiden X Ice Carnival as previously listed. So in reality I have no idea of which its parents are. Regardless of its unknown parents, it makes a beautiful splash of color in August when most have stopped blooming. 15 buds per stalk, but often produces two stalks per fan. Commonly lots of blooms into early September.
